School Visits and Talks

Catherine is available for school visits and author talks.

Catherine enjoys talking to young people about writing. As a child, she loved writing and has carried that passion with her through life. Her talks inspire young people to explore the world of storytelling, reading and writing – in a fun and engaging way. She has visited many schools as well as bookstores including Better Read Than Dead, Harry Hartogs and more.

Quark’s Academy author talk – Inventing the story

Catherine’s latest book Quark’s Academy is all about science, inventions and children with curious minds. Learn more about storytelling, coming up with ideas as well as some interactive science displays. Age group: Quark’s Academy is for readers 8 years plus.

‘Catherine Pelosi is an entertaining speaker who engaged the students with her wonderful tips for writing success. She introduced the characters from her new book, ‘Quarks Academy’, using some fun science experiments which the students enjoyed. Catherine had a lovely rapport with the students as they met her to have their books signed. We look forward to her visiting Wakehurst PS again.’
